Joining Lambda has allowed me to not only meet people I never would have met (you can do that at any party) but also to become close, close friends with them. During the past year, I've gone through a lot of personal growth. Through the mentorship of older brothers I've become a more confident person and learned that my capabilities are much greater than I had previously thought. |

Joining Columbia Lambda is not about finding a group of friends to hang out and get drunk during your college life. The brotherhood extends beyond your 4 years in college. You can't find another organization on campus where alumni graduated 5 yrs ago still actively come back and participate in house events, and take the initiatives to mentor current brothers. We feel obliged to contribute as alum because lambdas helped out our college life enornously and we want to make sure that the younger generation are enjoying the same kind of privileges Columbia Lambdas gave us. |
